Burglary - Longworth Road, Egerton

Good Evening, 

I have attended a Burglary that has occurred on Longworth Rd, Egerton between 18:00hrs-18:20hrs on Friday 9th January 2026. The offenders have gained entry to the property by smashing the rear patio doors and searched the house. A high value vehicle, belonging to the owners of the property was on the driveway, which fortunately hasn't been stolen. The offenders have made off from the address in a hatchback style vehicle which has been parked on Delph Avenue and likely made their way in the direction of Belmont Village. 

Please be extra vigilant, making sure all your doors and windows are locked. If you're going out, please leave lights on so that it appears that someone is in the house. If you have a keyless entry, stop/start car and have a faraday pouch, please make sure the keys are put in the pouch when you're in the house, not just when you go to sleep. 

Please report any suspicious activity, whether that be people and/or vehicles on 999.
